Port Blair Airport is Shut Down for 4 Days in a week

Department of Civil Aviation announced Port Blair's Veer Savarkar International Airport will remain shut for four days every week, starting March 1, 2022, to May 31, 2022, for up-gradation and re-carpeting work.

The Daily flight operations will be disturbed because of the renovation work. As of now, more than 11 daily flights operate in and out of the Port Blair airport. As per the announcement, the service is operational only on Saturday, Sunday and Monday till 31 May 2022.
